Our Community Outreach
1. Battambang Province:
- First Friday of the month
- Collaborate with a local Catholic Church
- Our team provides an Out-Patient service and a supply of medicines ( partially sponsored by the Church )
- Per visit, Our team attends up to 20-25 clients and out of which, there will be 1-2 new clients
- The Church provides our team a place to stay, facilities and arranges appointments with other organizations in Battambang Province
- For clients who are unable to afford the expenses, the Church also provides food and lodgings
- CCAMH also provides trainings for the organizations in Battambang to enhance their knowledge on mental retardation
2. Kampong Thom Province:
CCAMH provides medical support and counseling to the people every 3rd Friday of the month. (Started in October 2007) Before collaborating with them, they trained the people about epilepsy, different disabilities and mental disorders. This allowed the people to identify the problem and choose a day for consultation.

- Providing medication and assessment
- Teaching them daily behavior, activities according to program
- The severity of condition can only be determined by the commitment of the parents to improve the child’s condition(Epilepsy benefits the most)
- Staff working in caritas(Kg. Thom) train the people to indentify children with such disorder
